Exciting weather

What ever weather happens in the Cevennes it tends to be quite exciting. When it is dry we have a 2 month drought ( last January and February!). When it rains it pours, so the road next to us becomes a fast flowing shallow river and after the last storm the hill opposite us grew a little stream and waterfall. When it is hot it can reach 40 degrees ( getting worse each year with global warming like elsewhere). When it is cold it can go sub zero with ice and snow and sometimes the road is impassable for a couple of days.

All of which makes for an interesting time , far more so than in the usually dull grey UK
