The Autumn has come here in the wooded hills of the Cevennes, after the baking heat now we have the storms and flooding. As it is till around 18 degrees it seems like we are entering monsoon territory. Yet still there are all these people trying to tell us global heating due to human ( or rather corporate and ultra rich) behaviour.
The rain however s very good for keeping this area green and the plants blossoming an fruiting.
Our little local town keeps its economy going fter the summer months with different food fairs. Last week it was mushrooms and herbs, this week it is apples and sweet onions. Next week is soup Saturday with around 20 + stalls of volunteers making soups from all over the world, given out free with everyone voting for whose is the best.
