HOW LIFE IS SO IMPORTANT

I have had a few brushes with illness, birth and risk of death recently which really makes you remember what is truly important and try to make and give the best in our short lives

A you get older more and more friends pass away and more of us seem to have more ailments. Yesterday i talked with an old friend, a great and progressive writer who is currently unable to read, with total fatigue lying in a hospital bed getting a bag attached to his kidneys on top of the treatment he is receiving for cancer as well as receiving pain relief. To hear him trying to get through all this and hoping to be able to return to his own house, be looked after by his partner and get health care at home from such a strong brave and caring man was very moving and i wish him well, even at 85 he still deserves some last pain free good times

My family is looking forward to 2 new babies arriving in the next 2 months but at the same time as hope and joy there are also real possibilities of complications which fill me and us with fear and to rely on hope

How lucky we are to be living at this time with so many medical advances and length of life and to be living in the developed world where this is available to all. How precious is our health and the health and care service which our states provide yet how much the rulers want to take that from us. Even in good times we still have to what is right and should be for all.

Enjoy to day and your family ad friends while you can
