Happy belated birthday

It was my birthday earlier this month but I did not get round to on line celebrations. I do find that still I have not been able to settle in to a daily routine of blogging and prefer instead to respond to guardian comment ( except they never let you make comments on the really divisive important stories I have noticed) or in response to some reactionary twitter comment and then ai get into a flurry of writing.

So I was 76 which is bot an age i never thought i would reach when much younger, is only an age I have reached thanks to science and social democratic societies, which saved me 10 years ago from prostate cancer. (thanks agin to everyone in UCH London) and yet at the same time is so limiting as when people hear your age you can see them responding diffwerently somehow.

so anyway it was great to reach this age and enjoy every day.
